Al Nabooda Insurance Brokers (ANIB) are Commercial Lines Broker of the Year 2011 at 'INSUREX', 6th Middle East Insurance awards.

An international panel of judges from respected organisations including the Chartered Insurance Institute, chose Al Nabooda Insurance Brokers as Commercial Lines Broker of the Year 2011 at the recently concluded INSUREX awards for excellence.

The 6th installment of INSUREX was organized by POLICY magazine and held under the patronage of his highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Minister of Finance and Industry.

Our Managing Director Mr Rajagopal on winning the award said "It is a delightfully joyous moment in the history of the company. It will also go down in the annals as one of the most remembered since it is the first formal recognition accorded and that too within our first four years of operation. I take this opportunity to thank my Team of Champions, Chairman and fellow Board Members who have been with us through thick and thin and who are the real Winners of this Award. In my opinion, I consider this as 'an important milestone crossed' rather than 'an achievement'. Hence, I would not like to bask on this glory for too long but progress towards the next milestone. To quote from one of the most inspiring visionary leaders living today, HH Sheikh Mohammed, "... we are still at the beginning of the journey and that the road is long". We are even more committed to tread this path towards excellence with responsibility as a professional and ethical insurance broker true to the name Al Nabooda".

The winners of this year's accolades exemplify perseverance and innovation as they have weathered the economic storms and come out on top, more confident and sure of their abilities. Hats off to their achievements thus far and I will keenly watch their progress in the coming year as they fulfill their enormous potential."

All registered companies within the GCC, Jordan, Egypt, Lebanon, Yemen, Syria and Iran were eligible to enter the awards which took place as part of one of the MENA region's largest insurance forums that explores a range of strategic and operational concerns across the insurance industry.

Focus on product and service innovation and all round service to clients were two important factors looked into by judges. Merits were awarded to the development of long term relationships with clients, niche markets and insurers and for identifying special market needs and successfully catering to the demand with value added support services. The judges reiterated that convincing evidence of clear targeted planning and effective measurement of success in the context of profitable growth was considered a must for the selection of winners.

The commitment, hard work and dedication of every ANIB team member, were instrumental in the long road to success and recognition by this body of international judges. The Chairman of judges commenting on ANIB said "We took a very hard stance in terms of selecting the winners this year and we were impressed by the impact you had made on the Insurance Industry within a very short period of time".

Our Managing Director Mr. S. Rajagopal was in attendance at the recently concluded UNISON Network Independence day, held in Hamburg, Germany (May 2011). It was a two day conference with Insurance professionals from the International broking circuit gathering to share their knowledge and expertise to gain from the synergy of strengths.

Al Nabooda Insurance Brokers joined hands with ENOC in a 45 day promo in 200+ ENOC sites and convenient stores across the Emirates. The promotional campaign was held during April – May 2010. Each spends of AED 20 at the car wash or C stores (non fuel related products) entitled customers to a voucher to be dropped off for a lucky draw. Six lucky winners walked away with a compact and classy Peugeot 206 and Al Nabooda Insurance Brokers entered many a heart as a reliable provider of car insurance.
